Marks on Canvas
Controlled spontaneity, each mark becomes a meditation. Grainy, tactile, calligraphic strokes with pastels on raw canvas create visible forms that emerge out of the infinite formless. Archetypal themes, ancient art forms and wisdom traditions have become the source as well as the intent of my imagery.
